The Panthers made a great move today in signing Peter DeBoer as their head coach. He is very structured and will have them playing as a team by January. Don't expect big points from your Panthers, though. He preaches defense. Although his top line will see plenty of points, as he leans heavily on them.

The Sens have officially hired Craig Hartsburg as their new coach. Every coach has his favorites, but I don't see any obvious fantasy impact here.

The Avs signed undrafted Swedish sparkplug Per Ledin. The 29-year-old left winger is an agitating type who looks like he could chip in 25 or 30 points on the third line while racking up 150-plus penalty minutes. If he lands a roster spot, that's what you can expect.

I doubt you need a list of the trophy winners on a fantasy site, so I'll spare you the details. The only one I'm not thrilled about is the Vezina. GM's were asleep during the first 20 games, I guess, because Brodeur was horrible. Nabby was strong from games one through 82.

If anyone out there works for IT for a company who has my site banned, can you flip me an email to tell me why that is? I'm wondering if it is something that I can fix. Why would Kukla or Spector be allowed, but not DobberHockey? My email is dobber at dobberhockey dot com.
