Wayne Gretzky envisions Jokinen, Doan and Mueller as linemates. This is bad news for Turris owners, who anticipated that he would be in that middle spot. As such, Turris may fall short of 55-60 points as a rookie.
The Coyotes gave up their No.90 pick to the Rangers for Alex Bourret. Bourret is coming off another poor year, but can be a powerful second-line winger if the Coyotes can get him going. It won't be this year, though.
The Avs traded Brad Richardson to the Kings so that they could grab goaltender Peter Delmas in the draft. Richardson will make a fine third-line center for LA, with some offensive pop.
Ray Emery cleared waivers and will now be bought out by the Sens.
TSN is reporting that Marian Hossa will explore unrestricted free agency. Signing him was a long shot at best, but his chance for a cup was in Pittsburgh.
The Blues want Chris Mason to battle Manny Legace for the No.1 job next season, which moves Mason's near-zero fantasy value upwards.
