It is a tight race, but guess who currently leads all prospects in fantasy hockey value – see the updated Fantasy Prospects List here .
Sergei Fedorov signed a one-year, $4 million deal with Washington. He should be good for 50-55 points there. Any other team would have been much lower.
Kyle Wanvig has signed to play in the KHL next year.
The Blue Jackets have signed disappointing former Nashville prospect John Vigilante. The 23-year-old is ranked 233 on my fantasy prospects list, and also has one of the best handles in hockey.
Ray Emery is off the the KHL. Emery signed a one-year deal with Atlant Mytishchi for $2 million per season.
The Oilers have signed Marc-Antoine Pouliot to a two-year contract extension. No details on one-way or two-way yet.
The Thrashers have re-signed Eric Boulton to a two-year deal.
Atlanta has been very impressed with Zach Bogosian in development camp. If he keeps up his play, he'll make the team.
The Isles have given Brendan Witt a two-year extension worth $6 million.
The Canucks have signed Steve Bernier for next season, matching a qualifying offer that the Blues gave him of $2.5 million for one season.
The Pens have signed former TB prospect Adam Henrich. Henrich has bounced around the ECHL and AHL, as well as my Fantasy Prospects List. He will probably play for Wilkes Barre next season, but did have a strong second half in the AHL last year. Keep an eye on him, as with all wingers in the Pittsburgh system. He is ranked 352 on my FP List, but moves up into the Top 200 with this news.
