The Dispatch is reporting that prospect Stefan Legein is not planning on coming to camp and has in fact decided to quit hockey. GM Scott Howson: "Stefan has informed us that he's not coming to (training) camp. We're surprised that Stefan has decided that this is what he wants to do. We're surprised it's come to this. We knew there were issues with Stefan going back to last spring. We've talked through it with him and we haven't had any success." Legein had an upside of a second-line energy player and was ranked 247 on my Fantasy Prospects List.

Nikita Filatov has obtained his visa. GM Scott Howson: "He's absolutely got a chance to make the big club," Howson said. "But a decision will be made after we watch him over the course of training camp."
