(Status Here- After much drama on that hockey article, come teach me a lesson in the other sport… check out the DobberBaseball Playoff Pool HERE)

Crosby will be back in the PIT lineup tonight against TOR.

The Pens have signed Ty Kennedy to a two-year extension.

Phoenix has cut Michael Stone. With 49 players still on the roster, I don't know why this team is cutting one at a time like this…

Vancouver cuts: Juraj Simek, Yann Sauve, Karl Goehring, Taylor Ellington

The Rangers have cut Petr Nedved. I thought he was doing well, it was a nice try.

The Rangers have also cut Bobby Sanguinetti, Artem Anisimov, Joe Barnes, Maxim Kondratiev, Thomas Pock, Hugh Jessiman, PA Parenteau and 12 others.

Bigger names are starting to get cut now. Carolina cut 11, including Bobby Hughes, Nick Dodge and Harrison Reed. Still with the team is Drayson Bowman.

Edmonton Cut: Stephane Goulet

New Jersey cuts: Jean-Sebastien Berube (Rouyn-Noranda), center Patrice Cormier (Rimouski), center Adam Henrique (Windsor), defenseman Ryan Molle (Swift Current), left wing Kory Nagy (Oshawa), center Tony Romano (Peterborough), defenseman Harry Young (Windsor), defenseman Matt Delahey (Regina), and right wing Nick Palmieri (Erie).

The O'Sullivan contract dispute comes down to him wanting a one-year deal and the Kings wanting a three-year deal. The Kings want to keep their core together and are willing to let O'Sullivan sit if he doesn't budge. Basically O'Sullivan needs to bend, or he'll be missing games in the season. I compare this situation to Zherdev's two years ago – the night before the season kicked off, Zherdev signed (and I said a month prior that he would sign the day before the season). I say the same thing here.

Also in the groin injury club – Alexander Frolov.

Brent Burns (elbow) has been cleared to play in games now.

The Caps just made their cuts, which included Francois Bouchard, Oskar Osala and Michal Neuvirth. Interestingly enough – Chris Bourque is still with the team. Thanks to Japer's Rink

This guy's amazing: Rod Brind'Amour was back in practice yesterday for the 'Canes, just a couple of weeks after knee surgery.

Playing on the fourth line, Viktor Tikhonov tallied Phoenix's only goal last night. He is probably NHL ready and I like his fantasy future. He is ranked 33rd on my prospects list.

Enver Lisin played with Carcillo and Kevin Porter last night. Not dressed were Jokinen, Doan, Mueller, Turris, Boedker, Jovanovski, Yandle…

Last night, my favorite sleeper pick Brooks Laich centered Ovechkin and Semin. Pretty good linemates.

Chris Bourque made a nice impression on the Caps last night, picking up two points. He was the game's first star. He is ranked 215 on my prospects list, as his smallish size holds him down. He's moving up though.

Michal Nylander played in back to back nights for the Caps and says his shoulder is "no problem".

Chris Clark felt good after his first game action in months. He missed most of last year with a groin injury.

Fabian Brunnstrom played with Ribeiro and Morrow and picked up a pair of assists. If this line combo remains, his production will be impressive, while Loui Eriksson's will dip.

Brent Sutter has bee
