The Canucks had an amazing tribute for Luc Bourdon last night. His mother and girlfriend were in attendance, and his best friend Alex Burrows managed to pot two goals. If you want to check the video it is on at the Canucks official site (www.canucks.com).

Calgary lookd brutal, but do not read too much into one game.

Marian Gaborik rejected a 10-year, $80 million deal from Minnesota. Say goodbye to Marian, Wild fans.

Evgeni Malkin turned down an $11 million per season offer from the KHL this off-season.

Devin Setoguchi had a great debut for the Sharks and played a lot of minutes with Thornton. He could hit 30 goals and be a big surprise if he sticks. Dan Boyle is going to have a major impact on that team, especially on the powerplay.

Colorado's offense put up four goals and they still lost. Expect that a lot this season with a very underwhelming Budaj/Raycroft tandem in net.
