A Roto-Look Ahead – Week 4

Starting October 24 the Red Wings play five games in seven nights including two sets of back to back games.  Four of those games are on the road but there are some vulnerable opponents in there. If your league has the week set up Friday to Thursday get all those Red Wing in there.  Playing five games in a one week time doesn't happen very often – only twelve times during the regular season although it happens to Detroit twice.

Carolina is in the same boat as Detroit with five games in seven nights starting on November 1.  If your week runs from Saturday to Friday you can cash in on your Hurricanes.  They play three games at home and play the Leafs twice.  This is one of three times that Carolina will have five games in seven nights.

As for injury replacements here are some of the high and low ratings for teams over a two, three and four week period.

Two weeks

High ratings: Ducks (8.08), Rangers (7.66), Maple Leafs (7.37)

Low ratings: Coyotes (4.85), Blackhawks (4.84), Penguins (4.67), Stars (4.00), Canadiens (3.99)

Three weeks

High ratings: Sharks (11.03), Flames (10.87), Hurricanes (10.72), Rangers (10.62)

Low ratings: Penguins (7.62), Blackhawks (6.94)

Elizabeth and Lewis reunite to bring you all the latest fantasy news and strategy, such as how our siblings would fare if called on to fill our roles like Owen Sillinger did for bro Cole. Injuries and outjuries include a pair of goalies returning to their teams in Ingram and Shesterkin, as well as how Monahan’s wrist injury opens the door for big minutes for Fantilli. Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.
