Further to my CBJ line combo note below, it looks like Umberger will be the one moved to the wing, while Brassard remains center. That would make more sense, because Umby was there on the wing in Philly.

The Isles have sent Jack Hillen down to the AHL. He remains a solid D prospect, but could use one full pro season with lots of ice time.

The long awaited Dobber Nation returns later this morning… stay tuned

Marian Gaborik is on the Wild's road trip with the team, but is not yet practicing.

Tim Thomas has back to back shutouts – 58 saves in all.

Columbus has moved Brassard to the wing in practice. Rick Nash has also been moved to center. Line combos: Umberger with Voracek and Brassard; Nash with Chimera and Huselius. If this arrangement sticks for a couple of games, those in roto leagues could get multi- positional bonuses from these two.

The Blue Jackets finally sent Nikita Filatov back down. We'll see him again next injury.

Miikka Kiprusoff won his fourth straight start last night – a shutout. Things are finally turning around for Kipper.

Sergei Zubov is still targeting Saturday for a return.

Matt Stajan is now anchoring the top line with Antropov and Ponikarovsky.

Steven Stamkos earned his first NHL point last night, an assist. He played 12:58

In the 7-0 win last night, Simon Gagne had four points. Perfect for Gagne owners. Now trade him. I don't trust the concussion history.

Konstantin Pushkarev signed to play in the KHL yesterday.

Dallas forward Joel Lundqvist has a shoulder injury that will keep him out of the lineup for four weeks.

Florida signed Jassen Cullimore to a one year deal. Cory Murphy is on the shelf with his shoulder injury and will be gone for a month, so they needed Cullimore.

The Devils have recalled Matt Halischuk and Nicklas Bergfors from Lowell. This probably means that Langenbrunner cannot go.

Max Talbot missed last night's contest with an undisclosed injury. He is day to day.

Phoenix claimed Ken Klee off waivers and sent down Enver Lisin.
