I apologize for the lateness of the Fantasy Prospect Rankings. T'will be done shortly…

Trivia question has been answered. Thanks all!

Trivia – this one for five Karma points, answer in the NHL Discussion section of the forum. Evgeni Malkin is currently on a 10-game assist streak. Name the only player to have a double-digit assist streak last season.

Ondrej Pavelec has been sent down. He was 2-0 filling in for Lehtonen.

The Post-Dispatch is reporting that Paul Kariya missed practice yesterday and is doubtful for Wednesday. The rumor is that the injury is his foot. Yes, we have to resort to rumors about injury types these days.

Joe Sakic missed practice as well, with his injured back. I get the feeling that this will be troubling him all season.

Johan Franzen will probably be in the lineup tonight after recovering from a knee injury

Dan Cleary missed practice for personal reasons and he may not play tonight against the Pens.

Jeff Deslauriers started back-to- back games for the Oilers and he won them both. For the time being, a starter has emerged as Deslauriers has been spectacular. He has stopped 77 of 80 shots in those contests.

Martin Erat did not practice yesterday and is doubtful for tonight with an upper body injury.

Steve Sullivan is reported to be "progressing" in his off-ice conditioning, according to the Tennessean.

With Joel Ward also questionable tonight, expect both Ryan Jones and Patric Hornqvist to play tonight.

Evgeny Artyukhin has missed the last two contests with a groin injury. I still think he'll be a PIM stud this year.

Ryan Malone left last night's contest with a lower body injury. He is day to day. He has had a horrible start in Tampa Bay and was very inconsistent in Pittsburgh as well.

Josh Bailey has been activated off of the IR. He could make his NHL debut for the Isles tonight.

Kristian Huselius did not practice yesterday, but hopes to today. He has an ankle/foot injury.

Philadelphia will start Biron tonight.

Ottawa will start Auld tonight.

Dallas will start Turco.

LA will start Ersberg.

Cory Stillman (concussion) is hoping to return to the lineup by the end of the week. He is off to a good start with his new team, but be cautious – he was one of the NHL's leading scorers 20 games into last season.

Hamrlik will be back in the lineup for the Habs tonight.

Viktor Kozlov missed last night's contest with an undisclosed injury.

Chris Clark returned to the WAS lineup after missing one game with that "undisclosed injury" that's been going around.

Matt Cullen (groin) is close to a return to the lineup, as is Joni Pitkanen. Both should be back by the weekend at the latest.

Patrick Eaves – and this is another "injury rumor" – may have a concussion.

If you own Martin Havlat, it is time to start sniffing around your league for a trade. He has 14 points in 13 games this season, and given his injury track record he could go down at any time. I still think he'll play 50-55 games this year, but I couldn't tell you if he'll miss those 25 games starting tomorrow, or starting in two months. But he'll miss them and the wise move would be to trade him while his value is high. The longer you wait, the more his value will go up – but the risk increases.

The Wild could welcome back Gaborik, Burns and Nolan for Thursday's game. All three will probably practice today.
