Angus here.

BREAKING NEWS: Brenden Morrow is done for the season with a torn ACL. Dobber's analysis to come in tomorrow's ramblings.

Not to belittle the seriousness of Todd White's concussion last night, but we all knew he was a Band-Aid Boy. He has 15 points in 18 games and you should have been cherishing every one of those points because an injury was inevitable. This seems like one of those concussions that sidelines a player for a year.

The Pens still won't say what the injury is to MA Fleury, but he is out until next week at least. This may be one of those "undisclosed" injuries that are day to day for a few weeks. If you have the space on your roster, slip John Curry in there as your fourth goalie. If Sabourin stumbles (like last year) there will be a surprise goalie to lead the way in Pittsburgh (like last year).

Handzus owners – don't get too excited. Both of his points last night were in the final 40 seconds on an empty net.

Andrew Cogliano is shaking his early season slump with four points in his last four games. As Cogliano goes, so goes Robert Nilsson. If those two go, then the Oilers have another line that produces, which helps the entire team score more. Ah, the domino effect…

The Blues are following the latest trend by putting a young offensive d-man with defensive deficiencies up on forward. Steve Wagner is the lucky winner, following in the footsteps of Byfuglien, White and Harrold. Wagner will be a winger until Kariya returns (probably a week or two yet for that).

With Kyle Okposo out for a few games (hand injury) look for Jeff Tambellini to get another shot on a scoring line.

The Dobber Nation Radio Show with Andrew Walker will appear on the 25th of every month here on DobberHockey. The upcoming edition will feature Washington Caps blogger J.P. from Japer's Rink, DobberHockey's goalie expert Justin Goldman, and a third guest to be named later. If you have any questions you would like answered about the Capitals (Nylander?) or goaltending (Ottawa?) that you would like answered on-air, send them to dobbernation@dobberhockey.com We will also have a special email segment on the show – a sort of "free for all" to generate discussion on any fantasy hockey topic. So send any question or topic you would like to the above email address and we'll try and tackle it.
