Cory Schneider has been re-assigned to Manitoba (AHL) as Curits Sanford has been cleared to play. Expect the Canucks to ride Jason Labarbera, though.  Patrick Kane played last game with a high ankle sprain. Those sprains are generally pretty serious, yet he played with it... so I don't know what to think. He will not play today and you may see him miss a few games.  Columbus recalled Maxim Mayorov from Syracuse. He has 16 points in 33 NHL [...]

There are no games from January 22 from January 26 inclusive so it might be a good five days to plan a night out with your special friend without missing checking the scores. However, they still manage to squeeze a healthy amount of games in the rest of the month. The Ducks and Devils play 14 games in the month. All the other teams play between 11 and 13.  Justin Williams is pointless in his last six contests. Florida's David Booth has five in his last three. He is on pace for 50 on the year which is where I think he'll end up. Brandon Dubinsky has four points in his last four games and he began the year with nine in nine. That means he [...]
