Columbus has claimed Chris Gratton off of re-entry waivers from Tampa Bay.

An update in the Tennessean on Alexander Radulov during an interview with Bettman: Alexander Radulov. Russia's Continental Hockey League has refused neutral-site arbitration regarding the talented forward, who left the Predators for Russia last summer despite having a year left on his NHL contract. "Our position on that has been very clear: Radulov is in breach of his contract," Bettman said. "The KHL has acknowledged to me that they know he had a valid contract and frankly, the way they've conducted themselves in this whole manner is unacceptable.''
Bettman said that's the reason there has been no progress toward a transfer agreement — a set of rules regarding international player movement — with the Russians. If Radulov wants to return to the NHL, Bettman said: "He owes the Predators a year under his contract … He's going to have to deal with the Nashville Predators.''

Rene Bourque is proof positive that you have to trust my Band-Aid Boys list. Last season he missed 20 games and he missed 38 the season before. He was a career year, on pace for 56 points, 98 PIMs and a plus-25. He is out with a high-ankle sprain. Don't expect him back in February or March. This opens up a spot for a dark horse PIM guy in Brandon Prust. The team recalled Jamie Lundmark.

Jannik Hansen injured his finger and will be out indefinitely. The 'Nucks recalled Bolduc from the AHL

Alex Kovalev will be back in the lineup today, but with little fanfare thanks to the Kostitsyn brothers debacle. I wonder if this is what Mikhail Grabovski was yapping about in Belarus that made the Kostitsyn's dislike him.

Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.
