Angus here with some Saturday evening updates.

TSN is reporting that Derek Morris has decided to sit out of all Coyotes games unti he is dealt.

Bryan Murray confirmed that both Filip Kuba and Chris Neil will be moved if they do not sign contracts before Wednesday's trade deadline.

Marc Savard did not miss a single game for the Bruins, and he notched three assists in a losing effort today against Washington.

Zach Parise continues to build himself a case for the Hart Trophy, scoring the first two goals of the game in a 7-2 romp over Florida.

PIT line combos with Kunitz in the lineup and no Crosby: Kennedy with Staal and Kunitz; Malkin with Fedotenko and Sykora. Kunitz got two points in his PIT debut.

Thomas Vanek is targetting a return for Wednesday from his broken jaw.

As expected, Metropolit played fewer than 12 minutes in his MTL debut.

Plekanec has 12 points in his last seven games. Kovalev has seven in three since being sent home.

Mathieu Schneider has five points in five games since joining the team. His presense has also helped Markov, who has six in that span. The Habs have scored 19 goals – nearly four per game – since Schneider joined the team (3-1-1). Kudos to Bob Gainey for addressing the mess and quickly fixing much of it.

Marc Savard did not practice yesterday. But he WILL play today.

Milan Lucic will NOT play today. Sobotka will take his spot.

Danny Briere did not play last night. He could play Sunday. But they've been saying that all week.

Elizabeth and Lewis reunite to bring you all the latest fantasy news and strategy, such as how our siblings would fare if called on to fill our roles like Owen Sillinger did for bro Cole. Injuries and outjuries include a pair of goalies returning to their teams in Ingram and Shesterkin, as well as how Monahan’s wrist injury opens the door for big minutes for Fantilli. Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.

Keeping Karlsson: Tuch Hunch

On this edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast mega-show, Elan and Brian tour every team, ranking a slate of the least bad goalies, noticing the wind in some Red Wings’ and Stars’ sails, dangling snoozer status above a pair of commonly rostered power-play quarterbacks, and rushing or strolling, accordingly, to some skaters on the up and up.
