 Fantasy Hockey Revolution

** ADDED BONUS - ORDER BY MARCH 4 AND RECIEVE A FREE COPY OF DOBBER'S INTERACTIVE PLAYOFF DRAFT LIST **

Imagine this - you're sitting in a luxury suite at Ricoh Coliseum. A cold soda in one hand. Your fantasy hockey sheets in the other hand. Before you, Jiri Tlusty steals the puck from Karl Alzner and breaks in all alone. To your right - Dobber is also sipping on a cold soda, dispensing fantasy hockey advice. To your left, your buddy (who is also in your league) is enjoying some wings and chatting it up with Eastern Edge's Russ Miller.

This could be a reality.

Beginning of the End

 legace

What a sad state of affairs Manny Legace’s season has turned out to be. It wasn’t just the display of immaturity over the last week or the bad stretch of game in the last month. The true source of his demise actually goes back further than that, to the exact moment last season when he suffered that meniscus tear. Since then, the entire balance of Legace’s game has been upset, quite possibly marking the beginning of the end to his career.

The Blues have signed Andy McDonald to a four-year extension. This is great news for McDonald owners - I don't see a better fit for him out there.  With Vanek out for 3-4 weeks, the door opens wide for Clarke MacArthur. That is who I think will be a huge beneficiary of the open spot [...]

Dallas had an interesting idea in the summer. They would agitate the hell out of the other team by having a pest on each of their top three lines. And they also made sure that each of their pests also brought with them a ton of talent. By December, however, Brenden Morrow (more of a power forward than a pest, but bear with me) underwent knee surgery, Sean Avery underwent personality surgery and when the dust settled there was only one elite agitator left standing.

Jakub Voracek missed last night's contest with a head injury. Mike Green has scored in six straight games. This is a d-man we're talking about here. Michael Ryder's facial fracture will keep him out indefinitely - I think we're looking at three weeks, plus three more with a shield, but that's just a guess. Ilya Kovalchuk's wife gave [...]

Ryan Kesler has five points in his last two games and has seen over 20 minutes (per game) of ice time over the last four games. He has 10 points in 10 games. He also had nine in the first eight of the season. It's in between that was the problem (11 in 33).  Dallas [...]

It’s been a tough ride since the All-Star break.  My whole family has been on the IR.  First it was the cough, runny nose, sore throat (inner body injury?) and then last night it was a cross between Linda Blair in The Exorcist and the pie-eating story in Stand By Me.  It was not good!  But as I've said before - if I'm feeling crappy, my picks are at their best...
