Marian Hossa is back in the DET lineup today.
Ilya Kovalchuk will not be in the Atlanta lineup today. If the Thrashers do not call up Brett Sterling in this situation, it really is time to shut the door on that guy. He had a four-point game in the AHL last night.
Martin Havlat played 19 minutes last night after missing (just) one game. Is he really going to play 80 games this season? Amazing.
Give Antoine Vermette six points in four games as a Blue Jacket, after he scored twice last night. I'm looking for a big (65-70) season from him next year.
RJ Umberger has five points in the four games that Vermette has played. This is looking like a pairing that will work in the short and long term. He, too, should bounce back strong next year (55-60).
Marian Gaborik did a full practice yesterday. It would seem that he is close.
Short ramble this morning. Should have more this afternoon.
As many fantasy hockey teams enter the playoffs or the stretch run don't forget that tommorrow is your last day to buy the DobberBaseball Fantasy Guide for only $3.99. The price will rise after the 15th. We'd appreciate your support if you are a fanatic of both sports!
