Massive hit to the Habs – Mat Schneider will have season ending surgery and Andrei Markov will miss about three weeks (or most of the first round). Brisebois will see some PP now, as will Komisarek and Hamrlik.

Phil Kessel is day to day with an undisclosed injury. We should know more about the injury later today.

Nik Antropov left Saturday's contest early. He suffered a knee injury after colliding with Milan Lucic. He was apparently not limping too badly, but we will know more about it today.

Colby Armstrong has 10 points in his last seven games.

Colorado prospect TJ Galiardi saw over 19 minutes of action last night and scored a pair of goals. Ranked 188 on my prospects list, he will shoot way up this list on the next update (Friday). The Avs will be rebuilding and he will be a big part of it. I expect him to be an NHLer next season.

On the flip side, TJ Hensick has been somewhat disappointing. He has just two points in 15 games, and has been peppered with healthy scratches over the last couple of months. All this does is make his fantasy owner sour on him, leaving him ripe for the picking this summer. I still believe he'll be a top offensive player in the league in a couple of years.

Tomas Fleischmann is the type of player who, when he gets a point after a lengthy slump, more points will follow. So it didn't surprise me to see him post two points last night after he had his first point in 15 games Friday. With three games left in the season it's looking favorable that he will give you points in all three.

Brooks Laich has eight points in four games.

Because Craig Anderson lost Friday, Vokoun started yesterday and got the win. He'll get the starts and with just three games left he will be the starter in the postseason – because the only way they get there is if he keeps winning and the only way Anderson gets a start is if Vokoun loses a game. So that loss Friday cost Anderson 1) the final three starts; 2) playoff starts; 3) a bigger contract this summer. It will still be a decent contract, but how much bigger would it be if he got to play in the playoffs?

Kristian Huselius did not play last night because of a UBI. He smacked his head on the ice Saturday so I'm thinking 'concussion'. For some reason, the team felt Andrew Murray would best fill Huselius' role so they dressed him. They needed a skilled offensive winger to fill in for Huselius and Ken Hitchcock turns to Andrew Murray. He didn't have a choice – there were no other skilled wingers sitting in the press box with the offensive talent to replace a Huselius. Nobody ranked No.1 on Dobber's Prospect List that could have possibly helped the Blue Jackets score a goal last night (which they failed to do). Hilarious (for non-Filatov owners).

Elizabeth and Lewis reunite to bring you all the latest fantasy news and strategy, such as how our siblings would fare if called on to fill our roles like Owen Sillinger did for bro Cole. Then it’s onto news including coverage of the postponed CGY/LAK game and defensive injuries piling up in MIN and putting some strain on Gustavsson’s performance. Injuries and outjuries include a pair of goalies returning to their teams in Ingram and Shesterkin, as well as how Monahan’s wrist injury opens the door for big minutes for Fantilli. Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.

Keeping Karlsson: Tuch Hunch

On this edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast mega-show, Elan and Brian tour every team, ranking a slate of the least bad goalies, noticing the wind in some Red Wings’ and Stars’ sails, dangling snoozer status above a pair of commonly rostered power-play quarterbacks, and rushing or strolling, accordingly, to some skaters on the up and up.
