Montreal Signs Mike Cammalleri

Cammalleri

The Canadiens have signed sniper Michael Cammalleri to a five-year contract worth $6 million per season.

Fantasy Impact: We're still waiting for the Habs' lineup to take form. Assuming Kovalev does indeed officially sign, Cammalleri could play with him on the first line and move Gomez to the second line. This hurts the chances of Tomas Plekanec bouncing back, unless Jacques Martin decides to play Cammy on the wing, which happened sometimes in L.A.

Cammalleri won't top last season's 82 points. Not with Jacques Martin as the coach. Although 75 is still reachable.
