David Poile on Lewand and Erat: “I'm very confident that David Legwand and Martin Erat are going to have the best years of their NHL careers,” Poile said. “I know it's their time. They started off last year slowly, as our team did. But I know this year, getting out of the gate, they'll be top players.” Spoken like a true poolie. But unless they acquire Kovalchuk to put on their line in place of Joel Ward – it ain’t gonna happen. They’ll bounce back, but not for career years.
Johnny Pohl is back! The underrated forward has signed to play for the Chicago Wolves this year.
Columbus has re-signed Dan LaCosta. He will back up Lalande in Syracuse.
The Boston Globe speculates on the Bruins’ opening night lineup…
Countdown until the best damn fantasy hockey resource is released: THREE days.
