Buffalo signs Jordan Leopold

Fantasy Impact: The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Jordan Leopold to a three-year contract.
The Sabres get: a rearguard who has never reached his potential thanks to many many injuries. Investing three years was a big risk.
Fantasy Players impacted: because the team needs an offensive rearguard, Leopold should see plenty of ice time and a little bit of PP time. This won’t help or hinder Tyler Myers, as he is the go-to guy. But Leopold should see a bump. This may hurt Andrej Sekeras, but let’s face it – Leopold will get hurt and Sekera will get his ice time back. The Sabres often go with four forwards on the PP anyway, so in that sense Sekera will be unaffected.
Fantasy Players this helps, in order:
1. Leopold
Fantasy Players this hurts, in order:
1. Sekera
2. Marc Gragnani
3. Chris Butler
