Now the Brooks report has been refuted. The beat goes on…
Angus here – Larry Brooks says the Ducks have re-signed Bobby Ryan to a five-year extension worth $5.5 million per season.
According to Michael Russo, Wild center James Sheppard will be out for 3-4 months after he crashed an ATV over the long weekend.
Traverse City Prospect Tourney rosters – here.
I have a time set for the launch of the new DobberHockey shop – tomorrow at noon. At that point, assuming it runs smoothly, you will be able to purchase a fantasy guide through DobberHockey.com instead of having to deal with Paypal to get it done. Fast, simple and secure.
The annual Traverse City prospects tournament will begin in four days. Often this tourney brings one or two prospects onto a lot of fantasy radars as some players show they are closer to the NHL then expected. Tampa Bay, Carolina, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Minnesota, the Rangers and St. Louis will take part with their prospects. It’s a four-day event.
The slowest days of the year in fantasy hockey occur…. right now and they preceed the craziest days of the year – and we won’t know when it hits. The Fantasy Guide/Draft List were updated Saturday and they will be updated again this weekend. After that, I have a feeling that things will be happening fast and furious and the updates will be every three or four days.
Goaltender Kevin Lalande has signed to play in Europe next season.
