The Sharks get: A tough, abrasive agitator with decent hands considering his role.
The Thrashers get: An asset in exchange for one that they weren’t using. Eager is an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Fantasy Players Impacted: Eager’s absence probably means that Patrice Cormier is in Atlanta to stay. His role is aptly filled. Eager goes from fringe player to third liner, adding some nice grit/skill combination to a possible grit/skill line that includes Ryane Clowe (when he returns) and Torrey Mitchell (when he returns). A wonderful deal for both parties.I expect Eager to post a point every three games, and 2.5 PIM/game.
