Manny Malhotra skated for the sixth straight day today.

Patrice Bergeron also skated and looks to be progressing. He left before the contact began, but could be back for game three or four if he continues to improve at this rate.

Gates has posted his Top 100 Roto Players for May. Access it by clicking here, or on the left hand side of the home page.

Mikael Granlund had an absolutely awesome World Championships. His value dropped a bit after missing a few months last season due to a concussion, but he appears to be back on track (and then some).

Jason Demers was a no go for the Sharks last night – minor injury. Kent Huskins took his spot. No word on Demer’s availability for game two.

Calgary has extended Curtis Glencross for four years (at a cap hit of $2.5 million per). Not a bad contract for a versatile depth scorer who brings a lot to the table. There would have been no shortage of offers had Glencross waited until July 1st.

Joe Thornton had a strong first period for the Sharks, but the best forward from start to finish was definitely Logan Couture.

@dtolensky: Since the benching vs Chicago, Roberto Luongo has won six of his last eight starts, allowing just 14 goals on 225 shots- 1.58 GAA, .938 SVP.

Ryane Clowe still isn’t right from the Kronwall hit – he was not his usual self in terms of physical involvement.

Can’t believe I missed this a few days ago. Is Radulov really going to return? Perhaps Dobber’s April Fools joke will indeed come true…

Keeping Karlsson Short Shifts – Thanks for Vejmelkmories

Elizabeth and Lewis reunite to bring you all the latest fantasy news and strategy, such as how our siblings would fare if called on to fill our roles like Owen Sillinger did for bro Cole. Then it’s onto news including coverage of the postponed CGY/LAK game and defensive injuries piling up in MIN and putting some strain on Gustavsson’s performance. Injuries and outjuries include a pair of goalies returning to their teams in Ingram and Shesterkin, as well as how Monahan’s wrist injury opens the door for big minutes for Fantilli. Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.

Keeping Karlsson: Tuch Hunch

On this edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast mega-show, Elan and Brian tour every team, ranking a slate of the least bad goalies, noticing the wind in some Red Wings’ and Stars’ sails, dangling snoozer status above a pair of commonly rostered power-play quarterbacks, and rushing or strolling, accordingly, to some skaters on the up and up.
