EASTERN CONFERENCE

 

Adam McQuaid (lower body) didn't make the trip to Montreal and missed another day of practice.


Torey Krug (undisclosed) is a game time decision and head coach Claude Julien said he'd be "extremely surprised if he didn't play."


Matt D'Agostini (illness) is day-to-day with an illness.


Alexander Sulzer (undisclosed) is going to be placed on IR.


Brett Bellemore (concussion) will miss the next two games and is day-to-day with a concussion.


Tim Gleason (lower body) is on the road trip with the Carolina Hurricanes and should return sometime in the next few days.


Alexander Semin (concussion) is not on the current road trip.


Sergei Bobrovsky (groin) will miss the next four to five weeks with a groin strain and has been placed on IR.



Derek MacKenzie (upper body) will likely play against the Minnesota Wild on Friday, according to head coach Todd Richards.


Marian Gaborik (knee) is still a few weeks away, according to GM Jarmo Kekalainen.


Nathan Horton (shoulder) is the only player wearing a non-contact jersey at practice and head coach Richards said there have been no setbacks.


Henrik Zetterberg (back) will miss a minimum of two weeks due to a disc issue in his back.


Pavel Datsyuk (concussion) says he is symptom-free and was back on the ice at practice today, moving well. The concussion didn't slow his sense of humor; check out Datsyuk being a bobblehead.


Todd Bertuzzi (shoulder) is ready to get back in the line-up Friday.


Dan DeKeyser (shoulder) started skating and aiming to return mid-to-late December.


Tomas Kopecky (elbow) is off IR now and will be in the line-up against the Winnipeg Jets Thursday night.


Rene Bourque (lower body) didn't make the road to New Jersey and will likely miss a week.


Ryan Carter (leg) was placed on IR on Wednesday.


Adam Larsson (lower body) was placed on IR on Sunday, retroactive to November 23.


Evgeni Nabokov (groin) practiced and participated in drills on Wednesday.


Vincent Lecavalier (back) has missed last two games with back spasms.


Evgeni Malkin (lower body) is red hot with 19 points in last nine games, but injured himself at the morning skate and won't play Thursday against the San Jose Sharks.


Steven Stamkos (leg) says he's not setting a return date; he stood on a mat on the ice at practice Thursday and took shoots in a net within close range. He could be ready for early February and in time for the Olympics.


Eric Brewer (lower body) says he felt good at practice and thinks he could return Saturday.


Radko Gudas (upper body) practice on Wednesday in a normal (full contact) jersey.


Colton Orr (elbow) has been placed on IR.

Tyler Bozak (upper body) will miss an extended period of time with an oblique injury.


Joffrey Lupul (groin) wouldn't rule out Saturday as a return.


Michal Neuvirth (lower body) is on IR and eligible to return Saturday against the Nashville Predators.


Brooks Laich (groin) has not skated since last Wednesday and there is no timetable yet for a return.


WESTERN CONFERENCE

 


Mathieu Perreault (lower body) is not with the Anaheim Ducks on their current road trip so will miss the next two games for sure.


Francois Beauchemin (upper body) is travelling with the Ducks but not set date for a return yet.


T.J. Galiardi (back) was placed on IR last Thursday.


Dennis Wideman (hand) is out six to eight weeks due to a fractured hand.


Sean Monahan (foot) is week-to-week with a hairline fracture in his foot.


Andrew Shaw (undisclosed) did not travel to Minnesota for game against the Wild on Thursday.


Michal Handzus (illness) did not travel to Minnesota for game against the Wild on Thursday.


Ryan Wilson (back) must be getting close to a return as he shot the puck so hard on Monday that it shattered a pane of glass behind the net.


Alex Tanguay (knee) skated hard on Monday and is getting closer to coming off IR.


Ryan Garbutt (lower body) did not skate at morning skate on Thursday and will miss next game, possibly more.


Aaron Rome (lower body) was placed on IR on Monday.


Tyler Seguin (concussion) is a game-time decision Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.


Ilya Bryzgalov (concussion) has been placed on IR with concussion symptoms; looks to be first of his NHL career.


Boyd Gordon (shoulder) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Phoenix Coyotes.


Mikael Granlund (concussion) is not progressing from concussion.


Shea Weber (eye) will skate on Friday and travel with team to Washington and New York.


Pekka Rinne (hip) is scheduled for a MRI Thursday.


Kevin Klein (lower body) will play Thursday against the Hurricanes after missing just two games with foot injury.


Alexander Edler (lower body) is out indefinitely after suffering a leg injury Tuesday night against the Predators.


Alex Burrows (mouth) is out indefinitely with a broken jaw that he suffered in Carolina. He had surgery on Monday and approximate recovery time is four weeks.


Jordan Schroeder (ankle) is still using crutches.


Evander Kane (lower body) will miss Thursday's game but head coach Claude Noel said tests didn't show anything serious, so consider him day-to-day.


Zach Bogosian (groin) is back skating but according to head coach Noel he is week-to-week.
