Tonight – win your share of $600 with this single-day fantasy hockey challenge! Just 45 spots left

Take on Dobber, Guzzwell and the rest of the writing crew by picking the better single-day fantasy team. TONIGHT, March 11 at 7PM – win your share of $600…details below.

If you haven’t heard yet, there's a new way to play fantasy hockey that turns the season-long grind into quick-hitting one-night leagues. And you can win cash just as easily. Draft a team for one night and get paid out as soon as the games end that night. DraftStreet.com is at the forefront of this new trend in the fantasy world and is giving us a great promotion:

A one-day fantasy league – for tonight’s (Tuesday) games – with $600 in prizes. Just $2 to throw your hat in the ring

You read the likes of myself, Amato, Laidlaw and the rest of the DobberHockey crew and perhaps you think “Man, I’d love to take them on in a fantasy league. I’d hand their ass back to them!” Well, not it’s time to prove it. Here’s your chance. Tonight’s games, you pick your team, we’ll pick ours. Takes two minutes. Though, you’d be advised to put more thought into it than that if you want to take on the likes of me. Win bragging rights. Oh…and also cash!

This free contest will be salary-cap style drafting where everyone tries to assemble the best team out of the available players. You have a $100,000 budget to build a team of 2 LW, 2 RW, 2 C, 2 D, 1 G, and a FLEX. Each NHL player has been allocated a price based on their expected fantasy performance.

You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts tonight, March 11 at 7:00pm ET at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.

CLICK HERE to sign up for free and join the $600 contest on DraftStreet.com – just $2 to enter. And don’t feel ashamed if you end up seeing your name far below that of mine. But hey, feel proud of your participation ribbon…

Keeping Karlsson Short Shifts – The Wilkes-Jarry Penguins

Elizabeth and Lewis are back to take listeners through a host of power play changes that are giving managers the opportunity to get exposure to great players off the waiver wire, including Philly, Jersey, and Tampa talk. They also cover Jarry’s AHL demotion, Cooley’s ascension to the top-line and powerplay, and injuries to Tavares and Hintz. The duo wrap up with some hot and cold streak deep dives, including discussion of the Red Wings crazy powerplay success in the last ten games, whether Erik Gustafsson is rosterable or an overperforming illusion, Fantilli’s continued success, Merilainen as Hamburglar 2.0, and whether Schenn’s success and Neighbours’ lack thereof are likely to continue.
