Fantasy Impact: The Minnesota Wild have acquired winger Chris Stewart from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a 2017 second-round draft pick.
The Wild get: a power forward with plenty of potential, but is often underachieving. Stewart is still only 27 and he has three seasons (in his last six) in which he’s posted 0.75 points-per-game or more. Twice he’s scored 28 goals in a season, but is on pace for just 14 this year.
Fantasy Players this hurts, in order:
1. Niederreiter
2. Schroeder
