Another superstar goes down with a major injury and the Vancouver Canucks lose their starting goalie.  Injury updates on Patrick Kane, Ryan Miller, David Krejci and more.

 

ANAHEIMSami Vatanen (lower body – Feb 17) is out 4-6 weeks.

ANAHEIMFrederik Andersen (neck – Feb 10) said his range of movement in neck is good. Said it's more about handling fatigue and building up to play a 60-minute game. He is getting close to returning to practice.

NASHVILLERyan Ellis (lower body – Jan 10) continued skating with the team on Monday and is getting closer to a return. He is expected to be back in the line-up in the next week or two.

ISLANDERSMikhail Grabovski (upper body – Feb 20) was placed on injured reserve on Feb 20.

ISLANDERSKyle Okposo (eye – Jan 20) plans to skate later this week. Rehab seems to be on track as he is in week five of a 6-8 week recovery timetable.

ISLANDERSCasey Cizikas (lower body – Feb 18) has missed five straight games but could be back for Friday.

RANGERSRick Nash (neck – Feb 24) is listed as day-to-day with neck spasms.

RANGERSHenrik Lundqvist (neck – Feb 14) is on the ice taking shots with goalie coach Benoit Alllaire. He spent 45 minutes on the ice taking low shots, nothing near his throat.

OTTAWAClarke MacArthur (concussion – Feb 16) is not with the team on their current road trip as he is still dealing with concussion symptoms.

OTTAWARobin Lehner (upper body – Feb 16) is still dealing with concussion symptoms.

OTTAWACraig Anderson (hand – Jan 30) is still having issues that he needs to work through but he is with the team on their current road trip so he is getting real close.

PHILADELPHIASteve Mason (knee – Feb 23) will dress for Thursday game but will likely get his first start on Saturday.

PHILADELPHIAKimmo Timonen (leg – Nov 22) is with team on their current road trip and could return on Saturday.

PITTSBURGHChristian Ehrhoff (concussion – Jan 30) says he feels fine and is ready to go. It will be a coaches' decision as to when he gets back into the line-up.

ST. LOUISKevin Shattenkirk (abdomen – Feb 5) has resumed skating on his own. He is working with the training staff and things look positive. There is no Kevin Shattenkirktimetable for a return but things are progressing.

 

TORONTODion Phaneuf (upper body – Feb 7) says he is ready to play Thursday night.

VANCOUVERRyan Miller (leg – Feb 22) underwent a MRI and still waiting on the details on the seriousness of the injury. He could miss 4-6 weeks if it's serious.

VANCOUVERAlexander Edler (upper body – Feb 15) was placed on injured reserve on February 22.

VANCOUVERChris Tanev (upper body – Feb 22) is not expected to return Thursday. He is still day-to-day.

WINNIPEGBlake Wheeler (knee – Feb 24) missed Tuesday's game and will be questionable for the Jets next game.

WINNIPEGMathieu Perreault (lower body – Feb 16) will be out until April according to head coach Paul Maurice.
