The latest injury news on Justin Abdelkader, Vladimir Tarasenko, Victor Hedman and others…

It's the final week of the regular season and playoffs are just around the corner.  Here is the latest injury update:

 

ARIZONAShane Doan (lower body – April 7 – day-to-day) is out day-to-day, according to head coach Dave Tippett.

BOSTONDennis Seidenberg (illness – April 7 – day-to-day) is feeling sick and is expected to be fine by Thursday, according to head coach Claude Julien.

BUFFALOMike Weber (lower body – April 3 – out for season) will miss the final three games and needs surgery for an unspecified lower body injury.

CALGARYKarri Ramo (leg – April 4 – day-to-day) is classified as day-to-day for now and his injury status remains unknown.

CHICAGOKimmo Timonen (upper body – April 5 – day-to-day) left Sunday's game after being hit along the boards by Ryan Reaves.

CHICAGOBrad Richards (upper body – April 7 – day-to-day) will miss the next three games.

COLUMBUSFedor Tyutin (undisclosed – April 6 – day-to-day) missed morning skate on Wednesday and head coach Todd Richards confirmed that Tyutin wouldn't play Wednesday night.

DETROITJustin Abdelkader (hand – April 5 – indefinitely) missed Tuesday game but could play before the end of the regular season in one or both of the final games, according to GM Ken Holland.

PITTSBURGHSteve Downie (upper body – April 5 – day-to-day) was the only player absent from morning skate on Tuesday.

PITTSBURGHKris Letang (concussion – March 28 – day-to-day) isn't ready yet but could be ready in time for playoffs.

PITTSBURGHChristian Ehrhoff (upper body – March 25 – day-to-day) isn't ready yet but could be ready in time for playoffs.

ST. LOUISVladimir Tarasenko (lower body – March 30 – day-to-day) not on ice for optional skate. He will play in a remaining game if he is ready to go.

ST. LOUIS – Alex Steen (lower body – March 28 – day-to-day) not on ice for optional skate. He will play in a remaining game if he is ready to go.

TAMPA BAYAlex Killorn (undisclosed – April 4 – day-to-day) missed Saturday's game with an undisclosed injury, no further update.

TAMPA BAYVictor Hedman (lower body – March 31 – day-to-day) could play in the final two regular season games, according to head coach John Cooper.

VANCOUVERRyan Miller (knee – March 12 – day-to-day) said he's feeling better each day and that his timing on the ice is the main issue.

WASHINGTONTom Wilson (head – April 5 – day-to-day) has been symptom-free for 48 hours.

WINNIPEGTobias Enstrom (upper body – April 5 – day-to-day) is day-to-day and traveled with the team.
