Fantasy Impact: The Minnesota Wild have signed one of the better defense prospects out there in Mike Reilly.
The Wild get: home-grown talent and a puck-moving defenseman. Reilly was one of Columbus’ top prospects and he elected not to sign with the team upon completion of his college career. So he went along the same road as Justin Schultz, Blake Wheeler and Kevin Hayes. He’s coming off a season in which he tallied 42 points in just 39 games to lead his team, which included fellow NHL prospects Kyle Rau (Florida) and Hudson Fasching (Buffalo).
