Announcement: Goalie Post to Offer Free E-mail Notifications

Goalie Post is offering free e-mail notifications to everyone for the 2015-16 NHL season.

That says it all. For over a dozen years, Goalie Post has had the Starting Goalie Grid available for you to check out the latest starting goalie announcements. Other sites have come and gone, trying to duplicate the idea. So Goalie Post came up with the idea of selling email notifications. You would sign up and check off the boxes of which teams you need updates on. Other sites have picked up on the idea and tried the same thing.

But they haven't tried this.

For the first time ever, Goalie Post is offering FREE email notifications. Yep. FREE. No typo there. While other sites charge $2.99 or more for the service, we'll just give it to you. Why? Because we want to show that – in this case – the original is indeed the best.

If you have an account at DobberHockey, simply login at Goalie Post and then go to 'Email Updates'. In there you can select which teams you want to follow. When starting goalies are announced, we will send out an email to you if it's a goalie on the team you select. This will save your skin more than a few times in the 2015-16 NHL season. How many times did a coach play the ol' switch-a-roo on you at 6:53pm for a 7pm game? Imagine getting a notification from us at 6:58, and you get in your roster change just in time!

Sign up, enjoy. And remember – Goalie Post is the creator, the originator, of the Starting Goalie Grid. Often immitated – never duplicated. Goalie Post is a completely free website. We will make the site financially feasible through advertising – please bookmark it and check it daily for the latest starting goalie info.

*Note – there are about a dozen of you who had already signed up and paid for this service for the upcoming season. Simply email Dobber via the contact link below and get a refund.

Keeping Karlsson Short Shifts – The Wilkes-Jarry Penguins

Elizabeth and Lewis are back to take listeners through a host of power play changes that are giving managers the opportunity to get exposure to great players off the waiver wire, including Philly, Jersey, and Tampa talk. They also cover Jarry’s AHL demotion, Cooley’s ascension to the top-line and powerplay, and injuries to Tavares and Hintz. The duo wrap up with some hot and cold streak deep dives, including discussion of the Red Wings crazy powerplay success in the last ten games, whether Erik Gustafsson is rosterable or an overperforming illusion, Fantilli’s continued success, Merilainen as Hamburglar 2.0, and whether Schenn’s success and Neighbours’ lack thereof are likely to continue.
