The Top 100 defensemen to own in your points-only keeper league – October edition.

Based on last month's comments (yes, I always read those because the readers are quick to point out oversights or tell me something I didn't know – it makes these rankings better) I found a way to subtly tweak the formula in such a way that unproven (i.e. prospect) defensemen are still very much valued, but just a tad lower. It's great to own a player who could make the team in 2016-17 and perhaps get 50 points by 2017-18…but how do you measure that against a 'guaranteed' 35-40 point player? That's the fine line we walk…

These rankings are just pulled from my Top 300 Player Rankings. Remember this is for points-only keeper leagues. And all the factors are listed in the Top 300 link.

What about Ristolainen? I know he doesnt project as an offensive defensemam, but hes gotta be Top 100, no? Curious if Im missing something.
