Itching for the playoffs to begin? Why not kill some time by challenging your peers in hockey knowledge? With some luck, you might actually win!

First of all, you can join my DobberHockey NHL Bracket Challenge. You all know about it – what it is and how it works. So join with your DobberHockey peers and show us who's boss! The link is here. Note, to save, you not only have to pick every bracket, but don't forget to click on your predicted Cup winner. After you do that and choose how many goals – then you can pick the games. And put your bracket name in during Step 1.

Second – Dobbernomics is open for the playoffs. Each team's salary cap is set at $60 million and it uses the salaries already established by regular season trading activity. You get five transactions every Thursday, cumulative. Idea is to collect the most points and highest team value. Each user can create just one playoff team.

The team with the highest points wins an Ultimate Fantasy Pack (2017 – available for pre-order on May 1st). The team with the highest team value wins a Fantasy Hockey Geek Draft Kit!

Dobber, your Bracket Challenge link show the league, but there’s no JOIN button or anything resembling that. Am I missing something?

In the Dobbernomics – pretty well the only thing in fantasy hockey I am good at. 91 entrants so far…..

Is it too late to join dobbernomics since the playoffs have already started? I created an account, but can’t seem to get a team created. Help!

Keeping Karlsson Short Shifts – The Wilkes-Jarry Penguins

Elizabeth and Lewis are back to take listeners through a host of power play changes that are giving managers the opportunity to get exposure to great players off the waiver wire, including Philly, Jersey, and Tampa talk. They also cover Jarry’s AHL demotion, Cooley’s ascension to the top-line and powerplay, and injuries to Tavares and Hintz. The duo wrap up with some hot and cold streak deep dives, including discussion of the Red Wings crazy powerplay success in the last ten games, whether Erik Gustafsson is rosterable or an overperforming illusion, Fantilli’s continued success, Merilainen as Hamburglar 2.0, and whether Schenn’s success and Neighbours’ lack thereof are likely to continue.
