The Top 100 goaltenders to own in your keeper league, April edition…
Below are the 25 best keeper league goalies. You can get the full 100 list for free over at GoaliePost.com. These adjustments were made based on next season's (rather murky, in many cases) outlook. Also factored – depth chart, recent history, proneness to injury, and I use quality starts rather than wins as my measure. It was especially hard to lock down Fleury and Bishop here – I believe both will be starters somewhere else next season, but odds are they will be on weak teams that won't allow for many wins and shutouts. Consider them wildcards who could easily jump up or down 10 spots in an awful hurry…

I really can’t see people drafting 22 goalies ahead of Vasilevskiy in a keeper league draft… but I am sure you have reasonable rationale for having him that low.
I actually don’t, Paul, because I don’t look at the ranking I look at the tiers. If I draft a Tier 1 goalie (doesn’t matter which – they’re all the same value) then I don’t care which Tier 2 goalie I take next – they’re all the same combination of upside and immediate
I understand your premise. Just curious then, what is the purpose of the Rating, and why is the list sorted by Rating rather than by Tier, if Tier is more relevant? Thanks for helping me understand better.
I explain that in the full list here http://goaliepost.com/top-100-goalies
Do you see Talbot as having the potential to move up to tier 0 in the next couple years? I was thinking of shipping Holtby for Talbot and a couple 1st rounders.
I would if you could get that deal.
He has that potential on this team, yes
Fleury at 13 and Greiss who was horrible the second half of the year at 14, Wow. And they are both rated ahead of Vasilevsky and Allen They shouldn’t even made the top 25 list period
Actually, I don’t look at ranking, I look at Tiers. Two goalies in the same tier – I could care less as to which one I own. Greiss and Fleury are in Tier 2, which is correct.
Greiss’s new contract will ensure that he’s a safe pick. Fleury will be No.1 on a new team. Anyway, thanks for chiming in – seriously though, go by the tiers, don’t nickle and dime the rankings
What tier will you move Darling into now? 2? 1??
