2017-18 Over/Under Props

Steve posts the Bodog over/under bets for 2017-18 player point totals.

We are back once again to review all of the player point total over/under propositions available on Bodog. To recap, last season folks that were polled took the over in 71 of the 104 available props. This proved to be a damning strategy as the under hit on 65 of the 104 props. And as we broke down last week, the trend is that 63.8% of player point total props have gone under the set point total. The smart money is on the under.

This season Bodog put up 137 player point total props, offering up a wider array of options to bettors. Folks were still optimistic when polled taking the over for 73 players good for 53% of the available bets. They were also dead split on five of the polls, taking the under in the remaining 59. Odds are, more of these will hit under than folks are betting but that’s not the fun way to bet, which I suspect is what the betting site is counting on.

I have placed 24 bets this season, upping my bets from the 17 I did last season. I hit on 10 of those 17 turning a small profit. I went heavy on the under with 16 or two-thirds of my bets for the short-end of the point total. It’s just too easy for players to have poor shooting luck or injuries or some other malady that derails their season. The over bets I did make are what I feel are slam dunks. My unders carry a bit more risk.

Here are the handful of bets I made along with my point projection:

Really bummed I missed out on this – I never could find the player props on Bodog and numerous forum users had the same challenge. Maybe they took them down earlier than normal this year? When did you place your bets, Steve?
