Saturday NHL Picks – November 4

So I’ve finally hit .500 on the season. It took a bit longer than I would have expected, but I’m taking it as a sign that things are going continue moving in the right direction =). As with all things, you have to be ready to pounce on opportunities and after Las Vegas turned to Maxime Lagace, I knew it was time to go big against the Golden Knights. I was sweating a bit in the second period of their game against the Rangers, but ultimately came out on top in that game as well as their game against the Bruins. I fully expect tomorrow’s game against Ottawa will be no different, and am calling it as my lock pick of the day. In addition, with Carey Price out and Connor Hellebuyck being undefeated in regulation, it’s another situation I plan on taking full advantage of.
Outside of those, I’m liking the hot hands and home ice advantage (outside of the Vancouver/Pittsburgh game). Did any of you play along last week? If so, let me know how you did in the comments below. If enough people are interested, maybe I’ll setup an OfficePool’s Saturday Pick’em league with some sort of prize.
Best of luck in your week ahead Dobberites!
