Top 100 Keeper League Goaltenders – November 2017

The Top 100 goalies to own in your typical keeper league – November edition…

Goalies are placed into tiers and two goalies within the same tier should be considered equal and at that point are based on personal preference. They are tiered based on their outlook for this year (quality starts) and next year, as well as recent track record, proneness to injury and team depth chart. I left the actual rankings in there for the sticklers who prefer to see that.

I'll present the first 30 goalies here. To get the rest of the Top 100 – visit GoaliePost.com and click "Top 100 Goalies" in the top/main menu.

How is Talbot even close to tier 1 especially in a keeper league? A 30 year old who only has 2 full seasons under his belt and neither season broke a .920 save %. Not to mention Edmonton’s weak defence. If he’s in tier 1 is it purely based on Mcdavid outscoring Edmonton’s opponents?

Yep, that’s why. 40 wins per year, or close to it. Not many G’s have a shot at that each year but he does.

Wow! Bobrovsky still underrated on this list. I don’t see how he isn’t top 3.

He is top 3. He’s in tier 1

I know I’m nitpicking, but can’t fathom drafting Dubnyk, Murray, Talbot & Vasilevsky ahead of him. Ha has more vezina trophies than all the 5 goalies ranked ahead of him have combined!!!

Full disclosure: I own him in a keeper ;)

        • Dobber 2017-11-23 at 10:30

I own him in a keeper too. He is tier 1 same as those guys you list. They aren’t ahead of him. Except Murray who is tier 0 and set up to win 40 games per year. Bobrovsky had two very serious injuries in the last five years. That keeps him behind Murray

Remember when Vasilevskiy was 24th a few months back
