Saturday NHL Game Picks – February 10

Adam Mark

2018-02-10

After going 5-1 last Saturday, I had a pretty good follow up in the week finishing 9-3. My Dobber record is right where i want it to be, with my personal record needing a few more solid weeks to be on par with my YOY average. I will admit I have been looking forward to the second half as I do far better there than in the first few months. With teams settled in and playoffs on the horizon, outcomes typically become much more reliable. That said, lines also tend to shift and games at -200 ore more are far more common.

Moving on, I took Steve Laidlaw's advice and made a move for Dougie Hamilton which included me moving Anders Lee and Duncan Keith in return. My forward group is pretty deep, and I see Lee having a much slower second half. Here's hoping he gets anywhere near the 50 points Steve called for =).

Lastly, in case you missed it, things are looking pretty bleak in the Canuck's locker room right now:

Jacob Markstrom is not in a great place. Speaking of Markstrom, I was thrilled when the Canucks first acquired him as I had drafted him when he joined the league and kept him on my farm team for years. I, like many Dobberheads had high, high hopes for the giant Swede. It's too bad he has not been able to reach the heights we once saw in store for him.
