The top 50 prospect goaltenders to own in keeper leagues – spring, 2018 edition
I don't use the same formulas and variables used in the regular top goalie list (out Tuesday) – more emphasis should be on upside here and less emphasis on team strength (because – who knows how strong/weak the team will be by the time the prospect arrives?), and with prospects the 'ideal age' to own them should be different than the ideal age to own an established goalie. I'm also still struggling a little with the balance between a young backup goalie with a lower ceiling but is "in the show now" versus the unproven 19-year-old who has elite upside but is four years away from getting a sniff. The results:

Is Oscar Dansk anywhere in your top 100?
he should be. I missed him. I had taken him off last year when it was ‘clear’ that he was a bust without a team anymore. Oops! Thanks for catching it and letting me know
Yeah, I think everyone in the world had forgotten about him. I originally drafted him in a keeper in 2012, dropped him a few years later only to pick him up on waivers this year. Just out of curiosity, where would he rank roughly on this list? Thx!
I put him in for the next time I do this and he ranked 66th. Really got his opportunity through dumb luck IMO
Definitely got lucky with Vegas’ injuries, but I think he was always tagged as having a certain degree of raw talent & potential. Some goalies just take longer to put it together I guess.
Why are Stolarz and Lyon ahead of Carter Hart?
