Saturday’s NHL Game Picks – March 31

2018-03-31

Final week! In my Fantasy World I'm battling for third in both of my main pools. I'm down by 3 points in my Salary league and am up by 2 in my other playoff matchup. Saturday is going to have me glued to my phone for updates, here's hoping I've built up some luck with the Hockey Gods; here's hoping Sidney Crosby bats home another beauty or two =)

Picks-wise, I had a pretty mediocre week going 12-7, which wasn't good enough to push me to my goal of 63% for the year. Saturday once again has some pretty favoured matchups, and outside of a surprise upset from the Canucks or Sabres, things should be as we expect them to be. Overall, it's been a great season with some ups and downs, but it's definitely shown me that whatever system (or lack their of) that I have, it’s consistent year in and year out. I'll be analyzing a lot of things this off season to see if I can start making some incremental gains year over year, the data I've put together over the last 3 years of picks should aide in that quest, and I'm hoping to be closer to 66% sooner rather than later.

Outside of that, is there anything you guys would like more/less of out of this column? Let me know in the comments!
