Here's the latest injury news from across the NHL! If you're looking for information about a specific player and don't see their name in this article, there probably haven't been any significant updates about their progress since our last article. A few teams haven't been on the ice since the All-Star break began, so we'll have to wait a few more days before getting substantial updates from them. If you ever need injury updates for a specific player, shoot me a message on Twitter @BrennanDeSouza.

Adam HenriqueThe Ducks forward is week-to-week with a lower-body injury that's expected to keep him out for a while.

Taylor HallIs dealing with a lower-body injury that isn't believed to be serious. Hall returned home to Boston early, missing Monday's game in Edmonton and Tuesday's game in Calgary as his team closed out a four-game road trip. He's officially day-to-day and won't play against the Sabres on Thursday.

Rasmus DahlinThe 22-year-old defenseman is out day-to-day with a lower-body injury that he'd been playing through previously. He's been outstanding this season, racking up 62 points in 56 games – a 91-point pace! In Dahlin's absence, rookie Owen Power has seen an elevated offense role, quarterbacking Buffalo's top power-play unit.

Alex TuchThe Sabres forward is week-to-week with a lower-body injury. Although there's no concrete timetable for his return, General Manager Kevyn Adams expects Tuch to be back before the end of the regular season. With Tuch sidelined, Jack Quinn has been skating on Buffalo's top line with Tage Thomspon and Jeff Skinner. Quinn has eight points in his last seven appearances.

Pavel FrancouzIt sounds like a lower-body injury will keep Francouz out of the lineup for at least two more weeks.

Cale Makar It's possible he returns against the Devils on Wednesday. It was encouraging to see Makar wearing a full-contact jersey during Tuesday's practice, but it was an optional session that didn't have the same intensity as a full team skate. He's working his way back from a second concussion – with his first occurring just 11 days prior.

Gabriel LandeskogHas taken part in a few light skates over the past week but there's no concrete timetable for his return. On Monday, GM Chris McFarland said the team isn't certain Landeskog will be back this season. Colorado's captain has been on the shelf since undergoing knee surgery in October.

Filip HronekLeft Tuesday's game against Ottawa with an upper-body injury. There were no updates on his status immediately after the game.

Evander KaneIs day-to-day with a rib injury. I don't think he's been practicing recently, so it's unlikely he plays against the Leafs on Wednesday.

Sam BennettHas missed Florida's last five games with what is believed to be a hip injury. On Monday, coach Paul Maurice described the injury as short term, saying he expects Bennett back by the weekend. As I write this, Bennett's status for Thursday's game against Nashville remains up in the air.

Aleksander BarkovReports indicate that Florida's captain is dealing with a hand injury. Fortunately, there isn't any long-term concern. Although there's a chance he returns to the lineup for Thursday's game against Nashville, the Panthers may play it safe and wait until Saturday's game against Pittsburgh to get Barkov back in the lineup.

Trevor MooreReports indicate he's just about ready to return from anupper-body injury. Moore may be available for LA's next game, scheduled for Thursday against the Canadiens.

Kirby DachIs out indefinitely with a lower-body injury. Dach isn't with the team on its current road trip, which means he'll miss at least three more games.

Arber XhekajMontreal's rookie defenseman is set to have shoulder surgery this week, causing him to miss the rest of the regular season.

Sean MonahanDidn't join the Canadiens on their four-game road trip through Western USA. The trip concludes on Sunday, so Monahan will probably be sidelined through Friday's trade deadline. As a pending UFA, he was a valuable trade chip for the Canadiens, but his health has complicated the situation. Monahan has been sidelined with a foot injury for nearly three months now.

Ryan JohansenHad surgery on his right leg last Wednesday. The procedure came with a recovery timetable of 12 weeks, so Johansen won't be available for the rest of the regular season.

Filip ForsbergParticipated in Tuesday's morning skate but wasn't taking any contact. There's no concrete timetable in place, but coach John Hynes described Forsberg's return as 'imminent'. Nashville's winger has been day-to-day with an upper-body injury. He sustained the injury after taking a hit on February 11th, when his head (helmet) seemed to make contact with the ice as he fell down. Recovering from a head injury (if that's what this is) tends to be an unpredictable process. That would explain why he's been day-to-day for over two weeks now.

Mackenzie BlackwoodIs progressing well in his recovery from a lower-body injury, but there's no concrete timetable for his return. According to coach Lindy Ruff, Blackwood could be back at practice within the next week or so. With Blackwood sidelined, Akira Schmid is playing backup for Vitek Vanecek.

Timo MeierSkated with the Devils on Tuesday but wasn't taking any contact. As a result, he probably won't make his Devils' debut against the Avalanche on Wednesday. Meier had been labelled day-to-day with an upper-body injury prior to the trade from San Jose to New Jersey.

Jean-Gabriel PageauHas been skating recently but remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury, which has kept him sidelined since February 11th. The Islanders have a few days off before their next game, scheduled for Saturday against the Red Wings. Hopefully that gives Pageau enough time to return to full health.

Ryan LindgrenDidn't practice on Tuesday, so it's unlikely he plays against the Flyers on Wednesday. He's officially day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

James van RiemsdykDidn't play against the Devils on Saturday because he was 'banged up'. With the trade deadline approaching and JVR reportedly on the move, this is likely a case of the Flyers protecting a trade asset. As a result, I wouldn't expect him to play against the Rangers on Wednesday.

Travis Konecny Although the team is hopeful he'll be back this season, an upper-body injury will keep Philly's leading scorer out for at least three weeks. Konecny had been having an outstanding campaign, posting 27 goals and 27 assists through 52 appearances. I imagine the Flyers will struggle to score while their most dangerous player is on the shelf.

Sean CouturierContinues to ramp up his rehab, progressing well in his recovery from back revision surgery, which he had in late October. Although things are going well, the Flyers are unsure whether Couturier will be able to get into game-shape and return before the end of the season.

Matt MurrayPracticed with the team on Saturday and is expected to return to the lineup at some point this week. His mandatory time on LTIR (10 games and 24 days) will have run its course ahead of Wednesday's matchup with the Oilers.

J.T. MillerThe Canucks forward is out week-to-week with a lower-body injury. With Vancouver rumoured to make a significant trade ahead of Friday's deadline, some have speculated that Miller's absence is trade related. However, many sources have refuted that claim. Although Miller's name has come up in trade rumours, reports indicate Brock Boeser is more likely to be moved.

Laurent BrossoitThe 29-year-old netminder is officially day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Brossoit is currently on Injured Reserve, which requires him to miss at least a week of action. Based on my math, he isn't eligible to return until Sunday when Vegas hosts the Canadiens. Whether or not he returns for that game obviously depends on his health.

Nicolas RoyVegas' forward is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Anthony ManthaThe Capitals forward was on the ice for Tuesday's practice. However, he wasn't taking contact, so he probably won't be available against Anaheim on Wednesday. Mantha is officially day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Evgeny Kuznetsov – Missed Tuesday's practice due to a non-COVID illness. As I write this, his status for Wednesday's game against the Ducks remains up in the air.

John CarlsonContinues to skate on his own, hopeful he'll be able to return later this season. I get the sense that if Carlson comes back, it'll be too late to have an impact in fantasy leagues. Regardless, his health is the priority right now as he's working his way back from a significant head injury – sustained on December 23rd when he took a slap shot up high. On Tuesday, the Capitals acquired Rasmus Sandin, a young defenseman with untapped offensive potential. Sandin should see time on Washington's top power-play unit down the stretch, making him a good addition to your fantasy roster.

Cole PerfettiAn upper-body injury will keep Perfetti sidelined for at least eight weeks, so he won't be available for the rest of the regular season. With Perfetti sidelined, newly acquired Nino Niederreiter will take his place in Winnipeg's top six.

Pierre-Luc Dubois – Missed Tuesday's clash with the Kings due to a nagging lower-body injury. Although he didn't play, he was listed as a game-time decision, which suggests the injury isn't too serious.
