For the September edition of the Roto Rankings, we are pleased that Bangers Fantasy Hockey has returned with its pre-draft rankings for a second season! As a result, you will notice some major adjustments to our rankings from last month.
Since Bangers Fantasy Hockey provides its rankings with or without penalty minutes, we have opted for the non-PIM version of its rankings. That means the stat categories for the Roto Rankings are now as follows: Goals, Assists, Special Teams Points, Shots on Goal, Hits, and Blocked Shots. These rankings are different from keeper rankings in that they don't extend beyond the current season. These rankings could even be used to determine relative trade value between two or more players listed.
For more expanded rankings that include the top 350 players, projections in these categories, and a bangers score, go to the Bangers Fantasy Hockey website. Once you become a subscriber, you will be able to download their rankings for free.
Are there any players that you believe are ranked too high or too low? Did we miss anyone in the top 100, or is there a player there that probably shouldn't be? Let us know in the comments below, and we will consider your feedback when compiling next month's rankings.
