The Ottawa Senators have acquired forwards Fabian Zetterlund, Tristen Robins, and a fourth-round pick from the San Jose Sharks for Zack Ostapchuk, Noah Gregor and a 2025 second-round pick.
The Senators receive:
Zetterlund, who has produced at around a 45-point pace as a top-6 forward for the Sharks after being acquired as a returning piece from the Devils in the Timo Meier trade.

Robins, who has spent three seasons with the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL.
The Sharks receive:
Ostapchuk, who has spent the majority of the season with the Senators along with some time in the AHL. The 21-year-old center was the Senators' second-round pick in 2021.
Gregor, a 26-year-old forward who will be on his second stint with the Sharks.
Fantasy impact:
Zetterlund was a top-line, first power-play option for the cupboard-bare rebuilding Sharks last season. However, Zetterlund has seen his overall icetime and power-play time decline somewhat this season with the Sharks adding to their scoring depth and not having to rely on him as much. The Senators are even deeper than the current iteration of the Sharks, so it's possible that Zetterlund's overall icetime and power-play time could decline even further in Ottawa. That being said, the Senators are a bit thin on left wing after Brady Tkachuk, so the best-case scenario could have Zetterlund appear in a second-line role.
