Geek of the Week: Streamers with Four Games Next Week

Hello and welcome back to Geek of the Week! This week, I'm shifting the focus to maximizing games played. With the fantasy playoffs in full swing, every extra game can make a difference, especially in head-to-head matchups. That's why I'll be highlighting some low-owned players who play four times next week.

These aren't household names, but they can provide solid production in key categories, whether you need a boost in scoring, hits, blocks, or special teams contributions. Streaming strategically can give you an edge, and with the right pickups, you might just steal a matchup. I want to point out that it seems like off-nights don't matter too much this coming week, with plenty of games spread out between the week. However, you should really be setting your lineup each day in advance to see if you have to bench players on a heavy night. If you do, that player you bench may be a drop for someone with off-night games.

Let's take a look at some options that could help you get the most out of next week's schedule.

Matt Coronato – 7% owned

Coronato has been stepping up lately, seeing significant ice time in the top six and on the top power-play unit. Over the last two weeks, he's averaged nearly 20 minutes per game while chipping in with points, shots, and power-play production. With Calgary set to play four times next week, he's a solid streaming option. It is pretty rare to find someone at 7% rostership who is on the first power-play unit and is averaging almost three shots per game and almost a point per game. A Coronato stream can yield a nice 2-4 points, 9-14 shots, and a couple of PPP this coming week.

Martin Pospisil – 12% owned

Pospisil has found himself in a prime spot on Calgary's top line alongside Nazem Kadri, and he's making the most of it. While his offensive production remains secondary, his value in hits is undeniable. He's been one of the most consistent bangers in the league lately, racking up over four hits per game in the past month while chipping in the occasional point. If you need help in hits and PIM, Pospisil is your man. With exposure to Kadri, 2-3 points could be a great boost while he yields 10-15 hits and 4+ PIM this week.

Mackie Samoskevich – 17% owned

Many expected Samoskevich to lose his spot on Florida's top power-play unit after Brad Marchand's arrival, but he's managed to hold onto it—and that keeps his fantasy value intact. He continues to produce on the power play alongside Sam Bennett. Beyond the power-play exposure, he's contributing across the board with over two shots and hits per game, making him a well-rounded streaming option for multiple categories. With four games next week, he could provide 2-4 points, with some on the power play, while adding 8-12 shots and 8-12 hits.

Morgan Geekie – 14% owned

Geekie's fantasy value is soaring thanks to his prime deployment alongside David Pastrnak at even strength and on Boston's top power-play unit. That kind of exposure gives him strong offensive upside, even if Boston continues to struggle. As Boston's second leading goal scorer with 27 goals, Geekie is severely under-rostered. He's also red-hot, with five goals and seven points in his last six games, two of which came on the power play.  He can also chip in with over a hit per game and nearly two shots per contest.

William Karlsson – 14% owned

Since returning from injury, Karlsson has been producing at a point-per-game pace (actually an assist per game). He has taken a key role on Vegas' top power-play unit, where he has three power-play points in his last six games. With four games next week, he could easily get you two power-play points and 2-4 points. He doesn't provide many hits, but he actually is a great forward option to contribute to blocks with five blocks in his six games since his return.

It is not often you find so many top power-play players on the waiver wire. Take advantage and stream your way to victory!

Hope you enjoyed this week’s breakdown!
