Top 100 Keeper League Goaltenders – October 2025

2025-10-21
Here are the top 30 goaltenders to own in your points-only dynasty leagues – October edition! Plus another 70 (another three Tiers) can be found over at Goalie Post.
But first, LAST CALL for those late drafts out there! The 20th edition – Dobber’s Fantasy Hockey Guide! Buy it on its own here, or package it with the Prospects Report here.

Value goalies based on the tiers provided. The actual ranking is for sticklers, but given the crazy and unpredictable world of goaltending – goalies within the same tier are pretty much equal. Equal chance of thriving at some point, and equal chance of falling on their face..
This month, I will present just the first three tiers here (plus Tier 0) and encourage readers to visit Goalie Post to find the rest via the Rankings link at the bottom. Download the app, it’s free. Use it for your starting goalie notifications!
Tier 0
The only goalies who are completely safe owns, and elite owns. They’ll give you plenty of wins, fewer losses, and good peripheral stats. They generally don’t get hurt, and are fairly consistent. Yes, this Tier is a small one.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Connor Hellebuyck | WPG | 109.3 | 1 | 0 |
| 2 | Andrei Vasilevskiy | TBL | 86.4 | 2 | 0 |
Tier 1
Good goaltenders who are the clear starters for their team. They are generally going to be safe picks, they should give you solid stats, and each one has upside for greatness in the coming seasons.

| 4 | Igor Shesterkin | NYR | 85.3 | 6 | 1 |

Tier 2
Either clear-cut number one goalies, but on weaker teams. Or they are in a shared situation right now, but with tremendous upside in the future. Or they are on top teams but have a shaky track record of late. There is some risk here but also some upside.

Thatcher Demko at 26? This list is a joke right?
I thought the same thing. He’s about 15 spots too low.
100% agree. Dude can carry a team.
I believe it’s a great list because you just confirmed it. Whenever I’m confused if the commenter is upset that a goalie is way too high, or way too low, and I honestly can’t tell which, then I’m satisfied that it’s bang on. In your case, I really have no idea. Sounds like you think he should be 10th? Or 40th? Really can’t tell.
Also, as per my introduction that you never read – DO NOT GO BY RANKING ONLY GO BY TIERS. If you go by ranking you are shooting yourself in the foot.
Demko got injured walking by a sporting goods store. Glass man doesn’t make the list.
