Gabriel Vilardi turned in another strong outing with two points (1G,1A) in the Jets win over the Rangers.

Meanwhile on the other end, the New York Rangers continue to pile up the losses. Mika Zibanejad found the back of the net and continues to drive the offense. His goal also moved him further up the franchise scoring list, reinforcing his consistency as a top-line fantasy option.

J.T Miller registered two points (2A) including one powerplay point.

With injuries to Igor Shesterkin and Jonathan Quick, Dylan Garand made his NHL debut and was impressive despite the loss, stopping 35 of 37 shots in strong performance.

Eric Comrie was the difference for Winnipeg, turning aside 27 of 29 shots and closing things out in the shootout.

Gabriel Landeskog returned from injury and got right onto the scoresheet and was back in a top-six role. Colorado's schedule is not ideal next week, but they do play on three lighter nights in Week 23. Landeskog is available in 65% of Yahoo! leagues.

Brock Nelson scored the eventual winner, while Martin Nečas picked up two assists and continues to produce as a reliable secondary option.

In goal, Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 20 of 22 shots. Not a heavy workload, but a clean and efficient performance to get the win.

For the Washington Capitals, the headline was Alex Ovechkin scoring on the power play and reaching 1,000 career goals (regular season + playoffs).

Logan Thompson turned aside 21 shots in a solid outing, but it wasn't enough to hold off Colorado.

Cole Hutson added a power-play assist, giving him two points over his last three games.

–

Seth Jarvis had a three-point night (1G, 2A), continuing his hot stretch and helping the Hurricanes extend their win streak to four while snapping the Penguins' four-game streak.

Linemate Sebastian Aho added a goal, and Nikolaj Ehlers contributed a goal and an assist.

Pittsburgh struggled to generate offense, getting their lone goal from Egor Chinakhov.

Nashville keeps rolling, extend their win streak to four and strengthen their grip on that second Western Conference wild card spot.

Filip Forsberg was the guy again, scoring twice including the OT winner and chipping in an assist on Nashville's other goal. He's been a fantasy staple for a reason, still delivering even as he moves deeper into his career.

Steven Stamkos added another goal to go with his two from last night, giving him five points in his last three games and pacing for 66 on the season, well above his 52 in his first year with Nashville.

Juuse Saros was back in net after two missed games and turned aside 26 shots, keeping the Preds solid between the pipes.

Nick Lardis scored for Chicago, and Connor Bedard continued to flash his elite talent with a highlight-reel goal of his own.

Spencer Knight stopped 30 shots, showing he handled a heavy workload and kept Chicago in the game against a red-hot Predators team.

–

Bo Horvat was the lone goal scorer in the Blue Jackets vs. Islanders matchup, while Illya Sorokin earned his seventh shutout of the season, stopping all 24 shots he faced.

The Blue Jackers netminder Greaves made 21 saves and posted a .955 SV% in the loss. Greaves has now started 43 games for Columbus this season, recording 23 wins, 13 losses, two shutouts, and 28 quality starts.

Zach Werenski logged the most TOI minutes between both teams at 29 minutes, with Matthew Schaeffer the next closest at just under 26.

Reilly Smith, Brayden McNabb, and Ivan Barbashev all found the scoresheet for Vegas as their top-end stars came out flat. The Golden Knights controlled the pace, outshooting Dallas 33–15 and holding a 55% share of 5-on-5 possession for much of the night.

Jack Eichel went pointless again, skating 19 minutes and extending his streak to five games without a goal or assist.

For Dallas, Wyatt Johnston and Justin Hryckowian did the damage, with Johnston continuing to make the most of his top-line role in the absence of Roope Hintz and Mikko Rantanen.

Johnston sits at 38 goals on the season, on pace for 88 points, and has racked up 37 power-play points, leading the league with 23 power-play goals and also a new franchise record.

–

Troy Terry was the standout for Anaheim, netting two goals including the OT winner to secure the Ducks' victory, while Chris Kreider (1G, 1A), Beckett Sennecke (1G, 1A), and Leo Carlsson (2A) all posted multi-point nights to keep the Ducks' offense humming.

Sennecke now sits two points ahead of Ivan Demidov in the rookie points race with 54 points on the season. Matthew Schaeffer currently leads all rookies in goals scored with 22, one goal ahead of Sennecke.

Anaheim's power play was a key factor, converting three times on the man advantage, while Buffalo couldn't get anything going, going 0 for 3 with the extra man.

Zach Benson was the lone Sabre with a multi-point night, contributing a goal and an assist, and Jack Quinn and Owen Power also found the back of the net.

Alex Tuch added his 29th goal of the season, inching closer to the 30-goal milestone he's only reached twice before in his NHL career.

In net, Alex Lyon struggled, allowing six goals on 33 shots and seeing his impressive road winning streak snapped, a streak that had at one point tied for one of the longest in franchise history.

Florida Panther AJ Greer is out for three games after being suspended for boarding Calgary Flames forward Connor Zary on Saturday, and Zary himself is listed as DTD, so he didn't play against Tampa.

With his absence, Calgary had to spread the scoring around, and it worked out. Ryan Strome scored the OT winner to grab the extra standings point, while Victor Olofsson, Morgan Frost, and Mikael Backlund all got on the board earlier, keeping the Flames' offense ticking despite an otherwise middling season.

On the other side, Nikita Kucherov came in red-hot, riding a streak of 12 points over his last three games. It was not a multi-point evening this time around, but he still extended the streak with another assist, now at 13 points in four games.

Darren Raddysh added a goal off the aforementioned Kucherov feed.

Jonas Johansson was back in net for the first time since March 8, allowing three goals on 28 shots, while Devin Cooley made 32 saves for Calgary, helping the Flames extend their three-game winning streak with that OT win.

–

Artemi Panarin, Alex Laferriere both scored a goal a piece while Quinton Byfield posted two points (1G,1A) in the LA Kings OT loss to the Utah Mammoth.

Even with the acquisition of Panarin, the Kings have not been able to go on a consistent run to break into the last Wild Card spot. They currently sit two points of out the Wild Card and have gone 4-4-3 in their last 10 games.

Darcy Keumper has been struggling as of late for the Kings with only three wins in his last eight starts including this OT loss against Utah.

Nick Schmaltz potted two goals including the eventual overtime winner while Lawson Crouse chipped in offensively with a multi‑point effort (1G, 1A)

Upcoming Week 22 Playoff Schedule

Even with the New York Rangers on a four-game losing streak, they remain one of the more important teams to target heading into Week 22. There are limited off-night games across the schedule, and New York is one of the few teams playing all four (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun). Most of the top-end options are already rostered, but there are still some viable pickups. Gabe Perreault (15%) has two points in his last three games and continues to skate on the top line with Mika Zibanejad and Alexis Lafrenière, giving him solid opportunity. Vladislav Gavrikov (21%) offers value on the back end with second power-play usage and heavy minutes alongside Adam Fox.

Although the Vancouver Canucks are officially eliminated from the NHL playoffs, there are players that could be a sneaky targets such as Marco Rossi who has been red-hot, racking up 10 points in his last five games, including three on the power play. He's skating in a top-six role with prime PP time, so there's upside if you need a short-term boost. Just keep in mind, Vancouver's schedule this week is during the busy nights however the following week they play two early off nights (Mon, Wed) facing two heavyweights in Vegas and Colorado, so keep in mind those matchups won't be easy.

The Buffalo Sabres have two off-night games (Wed, Fri), although the matchups against Boston and Detroit are tougher. Jason Zucker (14%) continues to be a quietly reliable option, moving between the second and third lines while holding a role on the top power-play unit, which keeps his value steady in deeper formats.

The Boston Bruins are a secondary option with two off-night games (Wed, Sun). Viktor Arvidsson (17%) stands out as a short-term add, riding a five-point run over his last five games while holding a top-six role.

The Chicago Blackhawks also play twice on off nights (Fri, Sun) to cap off the week and offer a few targets. Tyler Bertuzzi (42%) sits just behind Connor Bedard in team scoring and remains widely available. Frank Nazar (20%) has gone quiet over his last three games but continues to center the second line and see top power-play usage. Andrei Burakovsky (2%) is a deeper option skating on the top line with Bedard, though the lack of top power-play time caps his upside.
