This week we will be taking a look in the crease at the top goaltenders around the league. Goaltending can make or break a fantasy team’s season, so managers need to be informed on the top netminders heading into the year. Let's take a look at the Top 10 Fantasy Goalies of 2026-27.

Honorable Mentions: Jesper Wallstedt (Minnesota Wild), Brandon Bussi (Carolina Hurricanes), Scott Wedgewood Colorado Avalanche, Carter Hart (Vegas Golden Knights), Karel Vejmelka (Utah Mammoth)

10. Sergei Bobrovsky, Toronto Maple Leafs

Bobrovsky is a back-to-back Stanley Cup champion, but he is coming off a poor season individually. Can that be attributed to the Panthers injury troubles? Maybe. But the reality is that Bobrovsky will be 38 years old at the time of puck drop next season. Now a member of the Maple Leafs, he will need to have a rebound year if the improved Toronto roster wants to return to the postseason. Still, he's a worthwhile bet to return to form next season.

9. Jacob Markstrom, Florida Panthers

Markstrom had little to no fantasy value as the starter of the New Jersey Devils over the last few seasons. However, after being acquired by the Panthers, he is now the projected starter of one of the best rosters in hockey. A healthy Florida roster should be back in contention, and that bodes well for fantasy managers who draft Markstrom.

8. Ilya Sorokin, New York Islanders

Sorokin is one of the only bright spots on a thin Islanders team. On a better squad, he would easily be a top five pick. However, unfortunately, the Islanders are searching for an identity as the direction of the team is unclear. Even the play of Sorokin won't be enough to bring the team back to the postseason. However, he is still amongst the best goaltenders available to fantasy managers as he was the runner-up in Vezina voting last season.

7. Jakub Dobes, Montreal Canadiens

Dobes was one of the best stories in Montreal last season. After Samuel Montembeault faltered, the young goaltender took over as the team’s starter. He was one of the best goalies in the league in the second half of the season and carried the Canadiens to the Conference Finals. Montreal's young core will continue to grow and find success, especially if Dobes can repeat his feats of the past year.

6. Jeremy Swayman, Boston Bruins

The play of Jeremy Swayman was one of the biggest reasons for the Bruins turnaround last season. If they want to repeat their success from last season, it will be on the back of him once more. After finishing third in Vezina voting, don't expect his play to take a dip, even if the Bruins struggle in the gauntlet that is the Atlantic Division.

5. Igor Shesterkin, New York Rangers

Shesterkin is arguably the best goaltender in the NHL. Unfortunately for him, the Rangers are heading towards a rebuild. The bare-bones rendition of the Rangers roster is bound for another bottom-five finish. That doesn't bode well for managers looking to select Shesterkin. However, he's far too talented to leave on the sidelines for long, and that fact, coupled with his heavy workload, is enough to keep him as a top five pick in fantasy drafts.

4. Jake Oettinger, Dallas Stars

Oettinger is the youngest member of the top five rankings. Despite this, he's been an elite goaltender for years now. The Dallas Stars are one of the top teams in the NHL, and with an elite team in front of him, Oettinger should have no problem racking up the wins once again next season. For fantasy managers, nothing is more valuable than a goaltender who produces wins.

3. Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay Lightning

In terms of pedigree, there isn't a more accomplished goaltender across the league than Andrei Vasilevskiy. Father time hasn't been able to catch up to him or the Lightning as both continue to consistently be amongst the most consistent around the league. With that being said, it’s hard to bet against the reigning Vezina trophy winner, or his team, next season.

2. Logan Thompson, Washington Capitals

The Capitals have been the busiest team in the league this offseason. After missing the playoffs last season, they have no intention of falling short this year. Logan Thompson was still one of the best goalies in the NHL despite the team’s struggles. Now that he has an improved roster in front of him, Thompson should be a Vezina candidate next season.

1. Connor Hellebuyck, Winnipeg Jets

Despite the Jets lack of success and the swirling trade rumors about Hellebuyck, the fact remains that he is still the best goaltender on the planet. He led Team USA to a gold medal the year after winning the Vezina and Hart Trophy. The Jets current outlook for next season isn't promising; however, that shouldn't stop managers from taking him as the first goaltender off the board in fantasy drafts.

Jesper Wallstedt I think has taken over the Wild net, no? I think that puts him in the top 10.
