Dobber Sports

2007-08-21

As expected, Trevor Linden has now signed with the Canucks. His production will be similar to last year's.

LINK is fixed below…

Some free advertising for Dobber – thanks guys! The FAN590 Hockey Central at noon asked for some good hockey sources. Someone called in and raved about DobberHockey. Here is the LINK . The secret is getting out…The mention is about 25 minutes in…

Mark Bell was on 640Toronto and stated that Paul Maurice will be using him at center. He played some center earlier in his career. This puts him as a third-line checking center, so temper your expectations accordingly. This will also push Ponikarovsky back up into the top six. As for his issues with alcohol – Bell says he hasn't had a drop since the incident.

The Wild have signed checking center Serge Payer to a contract.

The Kings have signed rearguard Jon Klemm to a deal.

The Avs have signed Wyatt Smith and Wes O'Neill to contracts. O'Neill is a defenseman who put up decent numbers in college and could be a second-pairing type of rearguard that chips in 35 points in a couple of years.

📢 advertisement:

Jeff Heerema is off to Germany. The forward signed with Frankfurt yesterday.

Kukla's Korner is reporting that  Janne Niinimaa has signed to play in Sweden.

SPECTOR is reporting that Daniel Tarnqvist has signed to play in the RSL next season.

Apparently, Trevor Linden will sign with the Canucks later today. Stay tuned…
