According to the Boston Globe, GM Peter Chiarelli has stated that Tuukka Rask understands that he will need to improve over a full season in the AHL before being considered for NHL duty, so he will remain in Providence for at least another year, if there were any doubt.
The Red Wings have signed Dick Axelsson and Logan Pyett to three-year entry-level contracts. Axelsson, a potential 65-point player in a few years, moves into the Top 200 Fantasy Prospects with the news.
