Marcus here:

Here is some trivia for those on the west coast. What stat are Joe Pavelski and Brian Campbell tied for? First person to respond to the "west coast trivia" thread in the NHL discussions sections of the forums will receive Karma.

Tom Gilbert is seeing time on the top PP unit in Edmonton and has four points in as many games.

According to St.Louis Today, Berglund (groin) and Kariya (hip) could miss another week. TJ Oshie is about 2-3 weeks away and Andy McDonald is slightly ahead of schedule (as in… instead of eight weeks it may only be seven and a half).

Although the Leafs played Stempniak last night, the Blues did no play Steen or Colaiacovo. Stempniak played with Moore and Blake, but now that Blake is out with a possible concussion that will change.

Antti Pihlstrom played 12:21 last night and did not see PP time for the Preds. He played with Legwand and Ward.

Kyle Quincey is fourth on the Kings in scoring.

Todd White didn't miss a game, when it was thought he might. He scored two goals – his first points in six games. He is on pace for 69 this year, but I would bet he falls short of 55.

My little preseason dark horse, Curtis Glencross, has eight points in his last six games and five in his last two. His ice time is still of the third line variety though.

Ty Arnason has just two points in 19 games this season.

Both Mike Fisher and Ryan Shannon could be back in the Sens lineup tomorrow.

The Forecaster is reporting that Sergei Zinovjev is a) unhappy with Ak Bars Kazan and b) is receiving interest from the Ottawa Senators. Zinovjev is, and we've seen this before, one of those babies who wanted to be in the NHL now! now! now! and when he didn't get his way he went crying back to Mommy Russia. Had he just paid his dues for another year or two he would be a star in the NHL right now. As it is, he is 28 and should be considered in all fantasy formats if he ever does sign to come back over.
