Peter Mueller missed last night's contest with a sore leg and is doubtful for tonight's contest.
Scottie Upshall has a sprained knee and will be sidelined for a couple of weeks. The team will probably recall Andreas Nodl, although given Claude Giroux's hot play he may get a look.
Pekka Rinne is expected to start today. He is coming off a shutout.
Chris Osgood did not practice yesterday. He'll try to practice today, but it is looking as though he could be out for a couple of weeks.
Brad Richards has seven points in his last three games.
Alex Goligoski is heating it up at the perfect time. With Ryan Whitney making his season debut tonight, Goligoski needs to impress to hold his PP spot. He is now on pace for 45 points thanks to a run that sees him with seven points in his last five contests. Clearly he has found his comfort zone in this league and could potentially have the same second half that Mike Green did last year.
