Today is the final day to order and instantly download DobberBaseball's Fantasy Guide for just $3.99. This thing is gold – Jacob Status put together a real beauty. I used it for a draft last week and I have to say that I came out of there with the winning team. Anyway, starting tomorrow the price shoots up, so be sure to pick it up now at DobberBaseball

Coach Peter DeBoer told the Miami Herald that he expects Nathan Horton back in two weeks, and Bryan McCabe back on Tuesday.

Halak started for the first time in six games last night, but took the loss. This further solidifies Carey Price as the starter (which the Habs were hoping would happen).

Martin Havlat is pointless and a minus-4 in his last three games, so perhaps he is playing through that "lower body" injury…and it's impacting his play.

In the five games that he has played since the trade deadline, Maxim Afinogenov has four points. He is seeing ice time consistently in the range of 13:32 – 14:49. He is starting to shoot more, with eight shots in the last three games (and two goals), so that's a good sign for Afino owners.

Dustin Penner is pointless in his last 11 and Brian Burke is reading that stat over and over again and laughing. Brutal year for Penner, who finds himself far down the depth chart as the promising youngsters gain more experience.

The once red-hot Eric Fehr and Tomas Fleischmann are now ice cold. The two are pointless in their last seven. Consistency will come with experience.

Blake Wheeler has yet to record a point in a game that Mark Recchi has been his teammate.

Steven Stamkos has 30 points in his last 49 games, which prorates to 67 over a full season. I think that is what you will see next campaign – 67 points, plus or minus five.

With three points last night, give Loui Eriksson 11 in his last eight.

Brett Sterling was called up yesterday by the Thrashers, and with Kovalchuk out he got 18 minutes of ice time. Now THAT is using him properly. Although his linemates were Armstrong and Peverley. He went pointless, but scored the shootout winner. Until we know how long Kovalchuk is out for, I do not recommend grabbing Sterling in your roto league yet.

Today marks the debut of the Top 100 Roto Player rankings, presented by Chris Boyle. On the 15th of every month, he'll give you his take on the best roto players to own over the past month.

With five points last night, Olli Jokinen has 10 in six games as a Flame.

Hossa played 15 minutes, but was pointless in his return to action.

After missing over half the season with a groin injury, Rusty Olesz was back in the FLA lineup, but played just eight minutes. Clearly they are easing him in and he won't be a fantasy factor for a couple of weeks yet.

Despite his getting two points last night, Richard Petiot – acquired by TB from TOR at the deadline in a so-called "garbage" deal – will never be a fantasy option. He is more of a defensive specialist. His upside is 25 points and 90 penalty minutes. That's at best.

The Flyers returned Andreas Nodl to the Phantoms. Nodl is a promising talent stuck in the "numbers game". He has every bit of potential that Oscar Moller has, but without the ideal environment.
The Leafs signed Chris Didomenico to a three-year, entry level deal. He is ranked 112th on my fantasy prospects list.
